To New Worlds! (and an old friend)

It was after our time in Prague that I spit up with my friends and we went on our separate ways. They discovered they had another entire day in Prague before heading to Paris, and I had an early morning flight to Nantes, France. It was there that I was meeting up with an old international student from my high school. I admit, during my solo travel, I was worried at times concerning flights, train rides and the hotel I was staying at. I got up at 3:00AM to take a cab to the airport. I flew down to Paris for a connecting flight and hopped between terminals to depart on my flight to Nantes. By a weird twist of fate, after I had arrived in Nantes and took a bus to my hotel, I discovered that I had missed the reception hours by 20 minutes. In other words, I had to wait until 5PM to check into the hotel...
Luckily, like I mentioned before, I was here visiting a friend and her family showed me great hospitality. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness. They showed me around Nantes, invited me to lunch and dinner. I had a great two days thanks to them.
Evening of the second day came around and I found myself spending time by myself. I went to a Jules Verne Museum and  Les Machines de Lîle Nantes (The Machines of the Isle of Nantes). A huge working elephant robot that could carry people, a carousel, and they're currently working on a giant metal tree called The Heron Tree that'll be covered with vegetation and rides. It was really cool. It's due to be completed in 2018.

I took the Eurostar back to London, and now I'm here, retelling all of my fantastic spring adventures in Europe. And the adventure continues still. Another 7 weeks, a new internship, and at least one more adventure riding through the space-time vortex *hint* *hint*. Till then, later!
My seat from Prague to Paris (Still, no qualms)

Flight from Paris to Nantes (I got lucky on my plane seats. Seriously.)
